The expansion of our fulfilment operations, will open up a variety of opportunities, for our clients and their customers.
Shape Fulfilment is a specialist in ecommerce fulfilment and integrated ecommerce technology solutions.
Shape is expanding its operations into the EU and opening a state-of-the-art warehousing facility in The Netherlands, this Spring.
As the sixth largest economy within the European Union and the continents leading transportation hub, The Netherlands has built a strong reputation for international business.
The expansion of operations into the EU comes at a time when customers are experiencing huge delays with sending their products into the EU, as a result of Brexit and changes to legislation and customs procedures.
Dave Wyatt, Managing Director of Shape comments “It is at times like these that companies need to become or remain agile and find new ways of supporting their clients. For us, the decision was simple, we needed to diversify and find a better way for our clients to access EU services, so that they could continue to delight their customers, which since 1st January 2021, has become more challenging.
The expansion of our EU operations to The Netherlands, will open up a whole range of benefits to our clients and subsequently their customers. We are excited to be able to offer this service and cannot wait to start fulfilling orders from our new warehouse.”

The expansion into the EU will offer the following key benefits to Shape’s clients:
- A reduction in customs clearance issues
- A reduction in delays between the UK and the EU
- Increased speed of delivery for customers across the EU from UK brands
- A significant reduction in dispatch costs, which have seen a steep rise since 1st January 2021
